About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelors or masters in computer science, mathematics, or related, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years professional experience in frontend development with React or React Native
- Ability to communicate ideas through wireframes and translate them into code, while following visual design patterns and improvising solutions.
- Understanding of backend architecture and services such as Django or Flask
- Previous use of AWS projects such as EC2, Amplify, and Lambda
- Ability to learn new skills efficiently
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+ (modern JavaScript /ECMAScript 2015+)
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices (experience developing and setting up a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline)
Preferred Skills:
- Previous use of AWS projects such as EC2, Amplify, and Lambda
- HTML/JS/CSS
- React
- Java
- Python
- MySQL or similar relational database (Postgres, SQL Server)
Additional Nice-to-haves:
- 5+ years of extensive experience with JavaScript, React, REST/AJAX/Fetch, HTML5/CSS3, and Git.
- Experience working in the solar industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
