Operations Support Analyst / Associate

About the Position:

Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Operations Support Analyst / Associate to join its Energy Optimization team. The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for providing operational support and documentation management acting as a liaison between the corporate office and the field staff. The ideal candidate will act as a resource to the field staff on company process, procedures, and requirements. Additionally, the candidate will utilize internal and external platforms to ensure accuracy of data for retrieval purposes and compile regular summaries of field activities for performance reporting on/with third parties. A successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detailed oriented, and be capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Human Resources

  • Ensure field-specific documents, orientation packets, and training materials are available and up to date working with Human Resources, the Technician Manager, and our Health & Safety Manager

Administrative & Accounting Support

  • Perform general administrative duties; assist with scheduling of meetings periodically and help coordinate the quarterly EO Managers meeting in addition to the yearly EO Team offsite
  • Complete special projects and presentation requests as assigned
  • Ensure that work request and orders are accurately assigned to projects and are prioritized appropriately for scheduling.
  • Audit open and closed work orders of our internal team and third-party contractors, summarizing workflows to identify efficiencies and areas of improvement.
  • Organize OEM specific documentation in addition to summarizing operational metrics to best inform our field staff in servicing activities
  • Support the asset registry of the EO fields in our internal and external platforms.
  • Support the review and processing of invoices, expense reports, and procurement requests
  • Verify correct codes for accounts payable invoices

Diligence Support

  • Track project hand-off deliverables amongst Structuring and Diligence to Energy Optimization as well as Construction to Energy Optimization
  • Work with the Construction and Diligence teams to ensure successful onboarding of assets through a project documentation QC process

Logistics Support

  • Coordinate and process rental equipment requests for field service activities in accordance with company procedures
  • Work with our Procurement Manager to ensure accurate tracking, timely replenishment, and auditing of inventory, tools, and equipment

Contract Compliance

  • Coordinate the prequalification and onboarding process of subcontractors
  • Maintain records of subcontractor performance, compliance with contractual terms, insurance certificates, licensing, and other compliance documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing administrative support. Solar Industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and cross-departmentally in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with multiple departments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
